PRESS RELEASE
Supreme Court discrimination case of Lilly Ledbetter
I watched a conference video this week, I saw presentation and interview of Mrs. "Lilly Ledbetter", a retired manager from Goodyear tire company. Her story reflects injustice of the Supreme Court against her, denying her right for equal pay sneakily and intentionally, for years of her employment. She had the opportunity to talk and be interviewed in many forums, in educational set up, and in many countries around the world and within United States about injustice in American courts and supreme court. It looks like people or women have nothing to do in America but to live in the courts and make living to all legal functions, then end up by insult and stealing our money.
Why am I blocked and shut up? All media were pushed away from presenting my story. I have not had the chance to be heard on TV or meetings and any forums to tell my story and the injustice as Lilly does. She has been supported with group of women, men, organizations, monitory help, and attorneys to address issues and attend meetings in person and she was heard, but I have been left alone with no meetings, no interviews, no prize awards, no support, no legal representation, nor being heard. This is another added discrimiantion claim against the American legal system. I faced worst discrimination, crime, defamation, and injustice than she did. She was allowed to fight back and make social change, I have the right to address the social change that I seek as well. Rather, I have been facing persistent threat of life, defamation, persistent hardship in America because the court actually steal women's income, retirement, and compensation and call it laws. It happened to her and to me. The war shall never end. This is crime and mess and shall be stopped and changed. The court promotes the discrimination, lies, falsifying our court focuments, and objects women to slavery life, harm, and threat of life, as it is happening to me for years.
People escape and do not support but want to get the benefit easy way while we suffer here. American abroad are not treated by this crime, threat of life, unprofessionalism, and stealing their income and retirement by the court, as we are treated in America. They should exprience it as it happened to me for years, and partially as happened to Mrs. Ledbetter. I called for lawmakers in the court and sent official letters but all has ignored me. How about American abraod if they are ignored and deprived the justice and left in the street? Is it going to be acceptable?
Educated women engineers do not come to America to get harassed and ripped off by the court and nonsense laws. The law that Mrs. Ledbetter tried to pass is not a solution, and it is not her job to do for free. The problem is still there. They think women be happy by papers (bill of right) and awards (piece of object) while the court collect our money and retirement, which result in objecting women to harm, abuse, danger, hardship, and unhealthy life style. Actually, all these activists and new laws are proof of dysfunctional court and laws in America, are proof of false constitution announced to the world claiming right of women and equality and no discrimination for race, gender, religion, and color. It is an insult to women to have to go through all this effort, for free, to make a law for right of women in the twenty-first century in America, the Free Country. Actually the court and the laws are exercising discrimination against gender and race and ethnicity and religion (though I am Christian). The fact that Mrs. Ledbetter passed a law is a proof that lawmakers do not do their job while making big salary and assuming power and high positions. Legislatures are just sitting watching the injustice and women getting harassed and ripped off year after year, I am one of them as well as Mrs. Ledbetter.
Her case is a threat to all litigations for the future generation. My cases are threat as well with the last one of 2008 still open with crime involved.
What she accomplished is just emotional satisfaction while they stole her income. There is no proof of pay equality neither for her nor for me nor for future women. It is all ink on paper. The corruption is still there with no justice or ruling. This court has to be closed. I am seeking a real solution for the root of the problem. Mrs. Lilly is not satisfied and I am not satisfied. They listen to her, but I am ignored. If judges and lawmakers believe in the stupid laws that are applied on women, like me and her, they have to pay for it. I do not wish to be ignored more than that by all functions including the House Representatives who should have contacted me officially, but I see no respect to woman engineer's civil right and justice. When I get mad and complain, red flag gets raised, it is too bad. If they do not care about me, I do not care too.
Mrs. Lilly fought with support and advice of groups around her, but I was left alone with no support in meetings or court appearance or any place. Even attorneys collectively discriminated against me, and were pushed away, either with no representation, stealing my legal fees, or misrepresented me favoring to union and judges corruption and whoever behind them. So I am questioning the constitution and its validity in the Free Country.
You can read about Mrs. Lilly Ledbetter in the web site: http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1874954,00.html
"...... Shortly before she was due to retire in 1998, an anonymous co-worker slipped a note into her mailbox at work comparing her pay against that of three other male counterparts. Ledbetter was making $3,727 per month, while men doing the same job were paid $4,286 to $5,236 per month. Ledbetter filed a complaint with the EEOC and was then assigned to lift heavy tires, which she felt was retribution.
• Sued Goodyear, which claimed it paid Ledbetter less than other male workers because she was not a good worker. A jury awarded Ledbetter about $3.3 million, but the amount was later reduced to around $300,000. Subsequently, the Supreme Court voted 5-4 that Ledbetter was not entitled to compensation because she filed her claim more than 180 days after receiving her first discriminatory paycheck."
Mrs. Lilly believes that America did great support to women, but she is ripped off totally, lost all equality and fair pay, false precedents are kept on court record to harm future women!!! I do not see the justice in anyway, especially for myself, as a woman engineer. May be she is getting some fair treatment but I am not. Women are taken like stupid in America, I will not take this crab and live with it. I need my right in every single incident occurred since 1994 as it is listed partially in the series of this web site.
I am calling for UCC and World Forum organizations to take the stand in the community and call for the real justice for the woman engineer, their long term officer for more than 15 years.
This message for the whole world and for United Nations Secretary General Mr. Ban Ki-Moon to step in and conduct a hearing for me. I need official contact by mail, in addition to e-mails or telephone calls. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Eng. Monique
